What I'd Really Like to Say IsI'm not like everybody else, and neither are you. There's more to life than what most people imagine in these little boxes of text. There's a separate, soothing and satisfying space that exists in connection, in having ones partner's back and being there for her as she is there for you. Some of who I am is scattered in the other parts of this profile: a lawyer, a dog owner, a person who is functioning and real. But, I am also anything but a lawyer in personality. Im not pushy, argumentative or constantly seeking an advantage. I dislike confrontation. Almost all of my work is written, and it is rare that I go to court. I rely on my abilities to express, illustrate and see from a different perspective, and I think I draw on the earlier plans that I had for my life when I was getting degrees are in film and English. While I love and adore my dog because he is a genuinely sweet and benign soul, I don't think talking about my dog will tell you about me, even if I also have a sweet and benign soul. And, as functional as I am, I have my neuroses, my dark side and my passions. Where and how these align with someone else is the telling sign of what is possible. So... In terms of who I am looking for, part of the question is whether you are looking for me. I'm liberal, analytical and usually tolerant and easy going. I seek someone who wants to have more than she would have by herself and is willing to let that happen. While we have nothing to judge at first but the cover of the book, we should be willing and interested in all of the contents.
