So many things make me happy - the first flowers breaking open in the spring, my granddaughters hugging me for no reason, friends calling just to say hi. I’m blessed with a large loving family but I’m the only widow and at the end of the day I’m alone so it would be exciting to attend eventsactivities with someone or just sit around the fire pit in the backyard with a cup of tea and speak quietly to each other.
