I'm obsessed with loving life, happiness, optimism, the natural world, and technology. If you can't find a reason to smile on a daily basis. . . Well, you should probably fix that. ;)
A partner in life is something that is incredibly important to me. The Bar Scene has never truly interested me for dating, as you rarely see a person at their best whilst intoxicated. . So, here I am. I'm seeking someone intelligent, honest, trustworthy, and who is themselves seeking someone to share life with. Having an interest in technology, science, science-fiction, or astronomy doesn't hurt!
Living in Bellingham, I'm a fan of the natural beauty that surrounds us. I don't get the opportunity to explore it as often as I'd like these days as work keeps me quite busy. I enjoy intellectual stimulation - be it witty banter, discussions on prescient topics of the day, analyzing history, or simply playing devil's advocate in a debate. I'm unabashedly a nerd. A geek. My home is littered with technology, all serving a purpose, for the most part. Hell, even my cats have a robot! Right. . . cats. Don't worry, it's just two well behaved cats that pretty much do their own thing.
Given that I'm obsessed with technology, I suppose it makes sense I work in IT. I currently work for a local IT firm, where we're essentially the IT department for many organizations locally, and throughout the state. I love my work, as it's incredibly varied - every hour brings a new challenge, opportunity, or travel. Ideally, the most suited match would be (or will be) employed in the field of their choosing, and loveing it as well.
I've spent some time trying to be thorough in the describing my interests, etc. , but this became too long winded. Just want to give prospects the best picture possible of who I am. What you may not be able to gleam from the pictures and interests is the kind of person I am: Honest, sincere, compassionate, loyal, and doing my damnedest to stay a kid at heart.
While I'm a total geek and sometimes carry a Leatherman and bits on my belt, I also thoroughly enjoy traipsing through the woods and exploring. I enjoy being outdoors, reveling in the natural beauty that's everywhere, especially in Washington. My most favorite destination would have to be Sol Duc Hot springs on the Peninsula. Locally, I love going to Blanchard and soaking in the view, or as is most often the case, exploring the state's roadways.
Hopefully this blurb gives you a better picture of who I am than, well, the pictures do.
Oh, and fair warning: I suffer from an affliction commonly caused by IT work: ADH. . . oh look a kitty!
